Comedian Michale Fry has said he has “no regrets” after he and his professional dance partner Kylee were voted off Dancing With The Stars on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
He and his professional dance partner Kylee performed a Samba to Sapphire by Ed Sheeran and following the viewers’ and judges\u2019 votes, the couple were up for elimination with fellow contestants Amber and her dance partner.<\/p>\n
He has now become the earliest contestant ever eliminated from the show.<\/p>\n
Speaking after Sunday\u2019s broadcast, he said, “I\u2019m good, I\u2019m good. You go into this preparing to go out – no matter how good you think you are.<\/p>\n
“I had imagined this happening and it has come to pass and that\u2019s fine with me. I know that I gave everything on both dances and I had a great time doing it so no regrets whatsoever.<\/p>\n
“I got to do Latin and ballroom so I got to do a good spread of different things. I feel like I\u2019ve had a full experience even though I\u2019m out in week one.”<\/p>\n
Asked what was harder – making people laugh or taking part on the show, Michael said, “Dancing on live TV, 100%. On the first show, I was so frightened, I\u2019ve never been so terrified in my entire life. If I thought stand-up was scary, dancing if you\u2019re not a dancer is much scarier.”<\/p>\n
Speaking about what he has taken away from the experience, he said, “I think it was important that I learned something. I never thought I\u2019d win but it was important to enjoy it.<\/p>\n
“The lesson I\u2019ve learned is to commit to things. You have to put your all into stuff or it\u2019s not going to be good.”<\/p>\n
Asked where it went wrong for him on Sunday night, he said, “I don\u2019t know, I think there are so many different factors. We could talk about dropping the scarf… I don\u2019t know but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s helpful to look back. I\u2019m happy with all of it.”<\/p>\n
