The British TV presenter recently shared an impressive body transformation on Instagram, revealing he\u2019d turned things around in just 75 days after a period of neglecting his health.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">McGuinness admitted that the summer of 2025 had taken its toll. \u2018Still can\u2019t believe how much I\u2019d let myself go,\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DTVjGPfCOwp\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=invalid&amp;img_index=2\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DTVjGPfCOwp\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=invalid&amp;img_index=2\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"he  wrote on Instagram\" data-node-id=\"4.1\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he  wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u2018That before pic is the result of just under two months of binge eating \u2013 beer, cakes and biscuits!\u2019<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">That realisation became the catalyst for change. In September, McGuinness began the  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/fitness\/lifestyle\/a35029546\/75-hard-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/fitness\/lifestyle\/a35029546\/75-hard-challenge\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"75 Hard challenge\" data-node-id=\"6.1\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">75 Hard challenge<\/a>, a 75-day programme created by podcaster and author Andy Frisella and designed to test both physical and mental resilience. Participants must follow a strict set of daily rules, including sticking to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/nutrition\/a63357986\/healthiest-diet-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/nutrition\/a63357986\/healthiest-diet-2025\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"diet\" data-node-id=\"6.3\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">diet<\/a>, avoiding alcohol, drinking four litres of water, taking progress photos, reading 10 pages of non-fiction and completing two 45-minute  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a745472\/burn-fat-build-muscle-145158\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a745472\/burn-fat-build-muscle-145158\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"workouts\" data-node-id=\"6.5\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">workouts<\/a>, one of which must be outdoors.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"11\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u2018The effect it had on my body, and more importantly my mind, was staggering,\u2019 McGuinness added. \u2018It really is amazing what can be achieved in such a short period of time\u2026 if you\u2019ve got the willpower. I thoroughly enjoyed taking on the 75 Hard challenge and now I\u2019m on the lookout for the next one. It\u2019s not for everyone, but if you\u2019ve got even an ounce of willpower, why not give something a whirl?\u2019<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"15\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">That said, 75 Hard is not without controversy. Frisella is not a certified trainer, dietitian or licensed therapist, and critics have raised concerns about the programme\u2019s rigid structure. Restrictive eating behaviours, body image issues and mental health challenges have all been linked to highly prescriptive challenges like 75 Hard, particularly when followed without professional guidance.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"17\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">McGuinness, however, is no stranger to structured training. Over the years, he has regularly lifted weights in pursuit of strength goals and even turned to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/fitness\/lifestyle\/a36590832\/pilates\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/fitness\/lifestyle\/a36590832\/pilates\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Pilates\" data-node-id=\"17.1\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pilates<\/a> in 2023 while recovering from a lat tear, which he described as \u2018brutal\u2019.
