It describes and&#13;<br \/>\nqualitatively compares their design and provides the first global estimation of&#13;<br \/>\nstandardized metrics to compare tax levels between countries. The assessment is&#13;<br \/>\nbased on data compiled by WHO for the second time since first publication in&#13;<br \/>\n2023.
