\n\tKPop Demon Hunters just got a \u201cKelly-Pop\u201d revamp with Kelly Clarkson<\/a>\u2018s latest Kellyoke performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the cover posted Tuesday (Jan. 13), the talk-show host put her own spin on one of fictional girl group HUNTR\/X\u2019s fan-favorite songs from the Netflix animated film\u2019s soundtrack. Taking the stage alongside her backup band, Clarkson channeled her inner-demon hunter to slay the performance, vocally giving the lyrics the amount of emotion they command.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI broke into a million pieces, and I can\u2019t go back\/ But now I\u2019m seeing all the beauty in the broken glass,\u201d she belted fiercely, doing the song originally sung by trio EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI justice. \u201cThe scars are part of me, darkness and harmony\/ My voice without the lies, this is what it sounds like.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat It Sounds Like\u201d is one of several songs on the hit KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, reaching No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> in September while the full album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a>. It\u2019s biggest hit, \u201cGolden,\u201d spent eight weeks atop the Hot 100 in 2025 and won best original song<\/a> at the Golden Globes two days prior to Clarkson\u2019s cover.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Kelly Clarkson Show is on its seventh season. She recently welcomed Arden Cho<\/a> \u2014 who voiced Rumi in Demon Hunters \u2014 as a guest on the program.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a recent Q&A segment posted on the talk show\u2019s YouTube channel, Clarkson shared an update<\/a> on how she and her two children have been faring in the wake of her late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock\u2019s death. \u201cThere\u2019s been a lot for our family recently, and so I have allowed my kids to sleep with me quite a bit,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s my two dogs, my two kids and me. It\u2019s a lot. It\u2019s been really special, though, because the conversations you have during that time are pretty cute. So that\u2019s probably my favorite time of day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe American Idol alum last dropped an album in 2023. That year, Chemistry debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
