Over the last four weeks, Marvel Entertainment has been releasing a series of teaser trailers to build early anticipation for its upcoming film, \u201cAvengers: Doomsday,\u201d which premieres in December. On Tuesday, Marvel released its fourth trailer \u2014 which, according to the film\u2019s directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, is not actually a trailer or a teaser. <\/p>\n
The fourth trailer features the Fantastic Four traveling to Wakanda and highlights the return of Shuri (Letitia Wright) as the Black Panther, after the mantle was passed to her following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman. <\/p>\n
Shuri says, \u201cI\u2019ve lost everyone that matters to me. A king has his duties, to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.\u201d <\/p>\n
Not all of the members of the Fantastic Four, the villain-fighting team from an alternate 1960s world \u2014 including Franklin Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) \u2014 appear in the trailer, though all are confirmed to be in \u201cDoomsday.\u201d The trailer does show a meeting between Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and King M\u2019Baku (Winston Duke), marking the first time the Fantastic Four have met a character from the MCU since their debut last summer in \u201cFantastic Four: First Steps.\u201d <\/p>\n
Fans also get a look at Mabel Cadena as the Atlantean-human Princess Namora and Tenoch Huerta as Namor of the underwater kingdom of Talokan, who first appeared in \u201cBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
Along with posting the trailer on Instagram<\/a>, the Russo brothers wrote: <\/p>\n \u201cWhat you\u2019ve been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. Or trailers,\u201d the pair wrote.
