Following his 2022 move biopic Elvis, Baz Luhrmann has been hard at work on his next film about the King of Rock and Roll.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros has given the filmmaker unprecedented access to a ton of unused footage from classic Elvis Presley<\/a> documentaries.<\/p>\n

These include the 1970 Las Vegas residency concert movie Elvis: That\u2019s The Way It Is and 1972 concert road film, Elvis on Tour.<\/p>\n

The filmmaker unearthed the unseen negatives when Warner Bros allowed him to dive into their underground salt mine vaults in Kansas while he was researching his biopic.<\/p>\n

Also among the treasure trove was rare behind-the-scenes audio that had been feared lost, including recordings of Elvis telling stories about his life.<\/p>\n

Restored and remastered, Baz says it\u2019s not quite a documentary, not quite a concert movie, but promises it\u2019s Elvis Presley<\/a> like never before.<\/p>\n
