With those impressive stats, Salda\u00f1a officially surpassed Scarlett Johansson as the highest-grossing actor of all time.<\/p>\n<p>The Oscar winner has grossed more than $15.47 billion at the international box office, according to box office tracking website <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.the-numbers.com\/box-office-star-records\/worldwide\/lifetime-acting\/top-grossing-leading-stars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the Numbers<\/a>. Johansson only recently <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/lists\/highest-grossing-actors-box-office\/scarlett-johansson-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gained the title <\/a>after surpassing her \u201cAvengers\u201d co-star Samuel L. Jackson with the release of last summer\u2019s \u201c<a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/movies\/story\/2025-06-30\/jurassic-world-rebirth-review-scarlett-johansson-mahershala-ali-rupert-friend-jonathan-bailey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jurassic World Rebirth<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What helped buoy Salda\u00f1a to the top is the fact that the 47-year-old actor stars in the three highest-grossing films of all time: 2009\u2019s \u201cAvatar\u201d ($2.9 billion), 2019\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d ($2.8 billion) and 2022\u2019s \u201cAvatar: The Way of Water\u201d ($2.3 billion). <\/p>\n<p>Salda\u00f1a is also the only actor to appear in four movies that brought in over $2 billion worldwide.
