A manhunt is under way for a 25-year-old man with an \u2018Irish accent\u2019 suspected of robbery and burglary offences<\/a> in the UK.<\/p>\n

In a statement, officers from the Kirklees District Crime Team are urgently seeking to trace Michael Moorhouse, who is wanted in connection with a robbery and a separate burglary.<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> are appealing directly to the public for information that could lead to his arrest.<\/p>\n

Moorhouse is described as being approximately 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with short light brown hair, and is known to have an Irish accent.<\/p>\n

Investigators believe Moorhouse may be in the Huddersfield area and are urging anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, to contact police immediately.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police<\/a> on 101 or via the force\u2019s online live chat service, quoting crime reference number 13250656294.<\/p>\n

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.<\/p>\n
