Robyn<\/a> has revealed she \u201chated\u201d Elon Musk<\/a> long before the Tesla CEO was almost universally despised. She made the comments during the hot take segment \u201cI Don\u2019t Think So Honey\u201d of the podcast Las Culturistas with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always hated him, way before it was cool to hate him\u2026 because there was a time where [it] wasn\u2019t cool to hate him,\u201d Robyn said. \u201cFor me, I started hating him when he put a Tesla into space with a David Bowie song on it. He actually shot a car into space, as if there wasn\u2019t enough shit floating around.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pop queen continued, \u201cI think there should be democracy in space. There should be democracy on Earth, too, yes, which we maybe don\u2019t even have at the moment. But the fact that any commercial company can decide what to do with natural resources and also do tacky things, like sending a stupid fucking car into space that\u2019s also dangerous for people \u2014 think about the astronauts that are up there in the International Space Station and they don\u2019t really know what\u2019s going to hit them or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCan we all just like have a vote on whoever gets to do anything?\u201d<\/p>\n

Once Robyn\u2019s one minute was up, Yang and Rogers urged her to keep going with her take. After the singer clarified that the song was David Bowie\u2019s \u201cSpace Oddity,\u201d she hit out at Jeff Bezos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe also did that. He went up in space, and then he came down,\u201d she recalled. \u201cHe put out [a post] on social media [and] was like, \u2018Now I realize that we really have to protect this beautiful pearl in the universe.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Expressing frustration with the Amazon founder\u2019s being out of touch with reality, Robyn added, \u201cSo you had to destroy the human race, like destroy the environment\u2026 To go up [into space] so that we all could have you realize this thing that everyone else understands. Nobody else had to do that to get that this is important.\u201d<\/p>\n
