{"id":28485,"date":"2025-08-28T10:15:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T10:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/28485\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T10:15:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T10:15:09","slug":"savinho-makes-his-feelings-plainly-clear-to-man-city-after-they-block-his-move-to-tottenham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/28485\/","title":{"rendered":"Savinho makes his feelings plainly clear to Man City after they block his move to Tottenham"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Manchester City have reiterated to Tottenham and Savinho that he will not be allowed to leave this summer, TBR Football understands.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>TBR Football<\/strong> reported on Sunday that <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/how-tottenham-feel-about-savinho-deal-following-talks-with-man-city-after-2-0-win\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham held fresh talks with City over Savinho<\/a> and felt quietly confident about the transfer happening.<\/p>\n<p>But <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/savinho-has-been-informed-of-man-citys-final-decision-on-tottenham-bid-as-pep-guardiola-intervenes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pep Guardiola is keen to keep Savinho<\/a>, and City have decided that he will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TBR Football<\/strong> also revealed that from a financial standpoint, <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/tottenham-facing-160m-obstacle-in-negotiations-with-manchester-city-over-savinho\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">City were under no pressure to sell Savinho<\/a> either, and with no replacement, they consider the matter closed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2223606302-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Manchester City winger Savinho in action against Wydad AC.\" class=\"wp-image-975081\" \/>Photo by Jonathan Moscrop\/Getty ImagesSavinho left \u2018unhappy\u2019 with Man City blocking Tottenham move<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/savinho\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Savinho<\/a> has been left unhappy with the decision from <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/how-tottenham-feel-about-savinho-deal-following-talks-with-man-city-after-2-0-win\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Manchester City<\/a> and made that clear to them, sources have told\u00a0<strong>TBR Football<\/strong>\u00a0chief correspondent\u00a0<strong>Graeme Bailey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian was really keen on joining <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/thomas-frank\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Frank\u2019s<\/a> team and is still hoping that the move can happen before Monday\u2019s transfer deadline.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/tottenham-hotspur\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> remain attentive to the situation and will return should they receive encouragement, but have started assessing alternative options.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the winger\u2019s situation, Bailey revealed: \u201cCity\u2019s hierarchy\u2019s stance was always the same with Savinho; they did not want him to leave.
