Manchester City have reiterated to Tottenham and Savinho that he will not be allowed to leave this summer, TBR Football understands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

TBR Football<\/strong> reported on Sunday that Tottenham held fresh talks with City over Savinho<\/a> and felt quietly confident about the transfer happening.<\/p>\n

But Pep Guardiola is keen to keep Savinho<\/a>, and City have decided that he will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer.<\/p>\n

TBR Football<\/strong> also revealed that from a financial standpoint, City were under no pressure to sell Savinho<\/a> either, and with no replacement, they consider the matter closed.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian was really keen on joining Thomas Frank\u2019s<\/a> team and is still hoping that the move can happen before Monday\u2019s transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> remain attentive to the situation and will return should they receive encouragement, but have started assessing alternative options.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the winger\u2019s situation, Bailey revealed: \u201cCity\u2019s hierarchy\u2019s stance was always the same with Savinho; they did not want him to leave. Yes, they showed an interest in Rodrygo, but it was always difficult, and they maintained their stance on Savinho.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, I am told that Savinho really wanted the Spurs move and still does; the window remains open until Monday, and he hopes the deal could happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpurs will remain attentive to the situation, should they get any encouragement; however, they have also made it clear to Savinho they are moving forward with other targets too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The North London club are now quickly running out of time to secure another left winger, with just under three days until the window slams shut.<\/p>\n
