There was one winner of Wednesday’s National Lottery jackpot, which was worth over \u20ac17m.<\/p>\n

The winning ticket holder takes home the third-highest Lotto jackpot of all time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The winning numbers were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 39, and the bonus number was 5.<\/p>\n

The location of the ticket is yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

It is the country’s third-largest ever win, with the total jackpot coming to \u20ac17,008,295.<\/p>\n

The biggest Lotto jackpot ever won in Ireland was \u20ac19m, with the ticket being sold in Mayo in 2022<\/a>. In 2008, a shop in Carlow sold a ticket that won \u20ac18.9m.<\/p>\n

This is the seventh major Lotto win of the year, with previous jackpots won in Kerry, Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford, Limerick and Louth.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a punter who won \u20ac1m on July 5 has claimed their prize. The winning ticket for the Lotto Plus Raffle special event was purchased at Ely\u2019s Centra in Clerihan, Co. Tipperary.<\/p>\n

“I saw the news online that the winning ticket was bought where I got mine! I scanned it and panic set in – I didn\u2019t know what to do with myself.
