While taking over Twitter and meddling in politics hasn\u2019t made Elon Musk<\/a> many new fans in recent years, singer Robyn<\/a> says she was a Musk hater long before others shared the sentiment.<\/p>\n

When the \u201cDancing On My Own\u201d hitmaker was given space to rant about whatever she wanted during Wednesday\u2019s episode of the \u201cLas Culturistas\u201d<\/a> podcast, she took aim at the tech billionaire.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always hated Elon Musk. I always hated him, way before it was cool to hate him,\u201d she said, earning nods of approval from hosts Bowen Yang<\/a> and Matt Rogers.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cBecause there was a time when it wasn\u2019t cool to hate him,\u201d Robyn continued, reminding listeners how Musk was more or less an afterthought back when his reputation leaned more towards quirky genius than scheming tycoon.<\/p>\n

Revealing her tipping point, the \u201cCall Your Girlfriend\u201d singer told Yang and Rogers she became repulsed after the CEO launched a red Tesla Roadster into the stratosphere during a 2018 launch of one of his SpaceX rockets.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs if there wasn\u2019t enough shit floating around,\u201d Robyn fumed, adding that she was appalled by \u201cthe fact that any commercial company can decide what to do with natural resources and also do tacky things, like sending a stupid fucking car into space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rogers agreed, telling his guest that \u201ceverything\u201d Musk does makes his \u201cskin crawl\u201d these days.<\/p>\n

Making one last point before she ended her vent, Robyn said she was particularly annoyed that the stunt was soundtracked by David Bowie\u2019s \u201cSpace Oddity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust to sell cars?\u201d she balked, saying the rocker would \u201cturn in his grave\u201d if he knew his music was being used that way.<\/p>\n

While Robyn said she\u2019s long loathed Musk, public opinion about him has shifted in her direction following his time as the face of the federal budget-slashing initiative known as the Department of Government Efficiency.<\/a><\/p>\n
