Tesla European Sales Plummet for Seventh Straight Month  <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Tesla&#8217;s (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/markets\/quote?tvwidgetsymbol=tsla\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TSLA<\/a>) European sales tumbled for a seventh straight month in July,\u00a0according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, or ACEA.\u00a0Tesla&#8217;s new car registrations, which serve as a proxy for sales, were down 40% year-over-year on the continent at 8,837, including a 42% drop in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/e\/europeanunion.asp\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">European Union<\/a> countries, while Chinese rival BYD&#8217;s soared 225%. Snowflake Stock Surges on Strong Results, Upbeat Outlook  <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Snowflake (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/markets\/quote?tvwidgetsymbol=SNOW\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SNOW<\/a>) shares are jumping 13% in premarket trading after the cloud software provider posted better-than-expected second-quarter results and an optimistic outlook. The company reported adjusted\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/e\/eps.asp\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">earnings per share<\/a>\u00a0of $0.35 on $1.14 billion in revenue, topping Visible Alpha expectations of $0.27 and $1.09 billion, respectively. Snowflake also lifted its fiscal 2026 product revenue projection to year-over-year growth of 27%, from its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/snowflake-earnings-q1-fy2026-11739078\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">prior projection of 25% growth<\/a>. Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy cited the &#8220;enormous opportunity&#8221; that AI is providing the company.\n<\/p>\n<p>  5. Dollar General Stock Soars as Discount Retailer Raises Full-Year Projections  <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_16-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> Dollar General (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/markets\/quote?tvwidgetsymbol=DG\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DG<\/a>) shares are surging 6.5% in premarket trading after the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/more-middle-and-high-income-earners-are-turning-to-dollar-general-ceo-says-11747386\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">discount retailer<\/a>\u00a0posted strong sales results and lifted its outlook. Dollar General reported second-quarter EPS of $1.86 on sales that increased 5% year-over-year to $10.73 billion. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha had expected $1.56 and $10.67 billion, respectively. Same-store sales growth of 2.8% also was ahead of expectations. The company also lifted its full-year projections for sales, same-store sales, and EPS.
