This opening comes after a renovation that began early summer 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The store is between ALDI and Sally Beauty and brings with it a touch of nostalgia. In 2014, Books-A-Million closed its doors in Bossier City, but now, 11 years later, it has found its way back to the area in a new location.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This national <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/save-date-centenary-college-book-090202304.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:bookstore chain;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bookstore chain<\/a> originated in 1917 in Florence, Alabama, and started as a newsstand. Today it is one of the largest book retailers in the United States, with more than 260 stores across 32 states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">These stores offer a variety of products, such as books, magazines, manga, collectibles, toys and technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Check out the new store in 2900 block of Meadow Creek Dr.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The store will host a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19.
