Comex 2025 is happening at Suntec City Convention Centre right now, with a plethora of deals across all the different sectors; gaming, audio, smart home, computing, you name it. Deals for storage solutions and mobile accessories are here too, so we headed down to scout out what sorts of offers can be found with a bit of digging.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Comex is open from 28 to 31 August<\/b>. Level 3 opens at 11am, and level 4 opens at 12pm. Both levels close at 9pm.<\/p>\n

Aukey\u2019s MagFusion M 10000 <\/b>is a 5000mAh portable charger that supports both 20W PD wired charging and 15W wireless charging. For the latter, it supports Qi2, and it\u2019s also magnetic, so you won\u2019t need to be constantly holding your phone to the charger. The M 5000 also weighs 173g and has a thickness of 14mm.<\/p>\n

The Aukey MagFusion M 10000 is being sold for S$59.90<\/b>, down from an U.P. of S$75.90 if you buy it from Aukey directly. You can find it at Challenger\u2019s Booth 301 on level 3.<\/p>\n

You already know Apple\u2019s AirTag<\/b> at this point, especially if you\u2019re already invested in Apple\u2019s ecosystem, as it works pretty seamlessly with the company\u2019s Find My network (read our review<\/a> for more on the AirTag).\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have one though, and you\u2019re looking to keep better track of your valuables, you can head to Booth 305 (Challenger) on level 3, where you can find it selling for S$42 <\/b>(U.P.\u00a0 S$45) <\/b>for one AirTag and S$146<\/b> (U.P. S$149) for a pack of four.<\/p>\n

The climate is getting crazier, which may be why handheld fans seem to be getting more popular. JisuLife\u2019s Handheld Fan Ultra1 and Ultra2 <\/b>are the company\u2019s latest and greatest for keeping cool on the go, with both featuring 100 adjustment steps for wind speed (which come close to 20m\/s at its fastest), an LED display, and a 9000mAh battery that charges via USB-C (with support for QuickCharge and PD). The Ultra1 is rated for anywhere between 1 to 6 hours of continuous use, while the Ultra2 is rated for between 1.5 to 25 hours of use, though it will depend on use case.<\/p>\n

The JisuLife Handheld Fan Ultra1 will set you back S$76.40 <\/b>(U.P. S$104.90) if you get it at the convention floor, while the Ultra2 is going for S$89.90 <\/b>(U.P. S$104.90). You can find both fans at Booth 305 (Challenger) on level 3.<\/p>\n

Mazer\u2019s MagFold Trio <\/b>is another Qi2 and MagSafe-compatible wireless charger, though this time, as you can tell by the name, it can wirelessly charge three types of devices at the same time, specifically a smartphone, a smartwatch and a pair of TWS earbuds. The total wattage is rated at 23W, and it\u2019s also foldable, in case you need to bring it with you as you travel.<\/p>\n

The MagFold Trio is available for S$90.90 <\/b>(U.P. S$129.90) at Booth 301 (Challenger) on level 3.<\/p>\n

SanDisk\u2019s Extreme Pro SDXC SD cards <\/b>are some of the fastest on the market. Though the speeds for the higher-tier ones might be a bit overkill, the base-tier UHS-I (V30) cards<\/b> are still plenty fast, while being cost-effective. Read speeds on these cards go up to 200MB\/s, while write speeds max out at 140MB\/s, according to SanDisk.<\/p>\n

\u00a0You can find the cards at 12Buy.sg\u2019s Booth (8325) on level 4, where they cost S$30<\/b> (128GB), S$55 <\/b>(256GB), S$97<\/b> (512GB) and S$185<\/b> (1TB). These are while stocks last, though, and you can also find them at Booth 307 (Challenger) at level 3, where they go for slightly higher prices of S$38.90 <\/b>(128GB), S$69.90<\/b> (256GB) and S$139.90<\/b> (512GB).<\/p>\n

The Exercia Plus G4<\/b> is the latest to come out of Kioxia\u2019s<\/b> SSD lineup, and the first in the Exercia series to feature PCIe 5.0 support. Targeted towards gamers and enthusiast consumers, the Exercia Plus G4 is an NVMe SSD with sequential read speeds measuring up to 10000MB\/s, while sequential write speeds go up to 8200MB\/s (7900MB\/s for the 1TB version), according to Kioxia. <\/p>\n

The Exercia Plus G4 comes in 1TB and 2TB sizes, going for S$159 <\/b>(U.P. S$189) <\/b>and S$279 <\/b>(U.P. S$319) <\/b>respectively. Additionally, as part of SG60, if you spend more than S$60 at the Kioxia booth, you can get a free PWP U365 256GB USB Drive (while stocks last), and stand a chance to win an Anda Seat gaming chair (three in total to be won).<\/p>\n

If you need a beefy portable storage solutoin, why not convert, say, a disused SSD from an old laptop or PC into a portable drive? Transcend\u2019s TS-CM10G SSD Enclosure<\/b> is built to do just that, fitting an M.2 SSD (2230\/2242\/2260\/2280), both PCIe and SATA III, in the housing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The TS-CM10G has a USB-C port on the back, and comes with both a Type-C and Type-C to Type-A cable for connecting to your computer, with speeds of up to 10Gbps (though that will also depend on the drive you put in). It supports a drive of up to 4TB in size.<\/p>\n

One of the premier SSDs for gaming (both on PC and PS5), the WD Black SN850X <\/b>comes in both heatsink and non-heatsink options, and supports a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface, with sequential read speeds of up to 7300MB\/s and write speeds of up to 6600 MB\/s.<\/p>\n

Non-heatsink variants of the WD Black SN850X come in 1TB (S$136<\/b>), 2TB, (S$243<\/b>), 4TB (S$438<\/b>) and 8TB (S$960<\/b>).\u00a0<\/p>\n

WD\u2019s <\/b>My Book series is a lineup of direct-attached storage devices, and is one solution out there if you\u2019re looking to hoard your data in a physical drive. The My Book Duo <\/b>specifically is the version that supports RAID 0 storage out of the box, and storage tops out at 44TB.<\/p>\n

The My Book Duos come in sizes of 16TB (S$699<\/b>), 20TB (S$849<\/b>), 24TB (S$999<\/b>), 36TB (S$1,359<\/b>), 44TB (S$1,599<\/b>). All of these prices are around S$100 lower than their original unit prices. You can find it at Booth 307 (Challenger) on level 3.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking at more traditional portable storage options, though, you can look for WD\u2019s My Passport SSDs<\/b>. These SSDs only weigh 46g, and the rated read speeds go up to 1050MB\/s, while write speeds go up to 1000MB\/s. They also support USB 3.2 Gen 2.<\/p>\n

They come in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB sizes, costing S$149<\/b> (U.P. S$199), S$219 <\/b>(U.P. S$299) and S$429 <\/b>(U.P. S$559), respectively. However, a representative noted to me that these aren\u2019t the final prices, as they come before a further 5% discount. In addition, you get a free pouch, and NTUC vouchers of S$10 (1TB), S$15 (2TB) and S$20 (4TB). You can find the WD My Passport SSDs at the Best Denki booth (Booth 8109) on level 4.<\/p>\n
