Dingle looked to be in a fantastic position to win it when St Brigid’s received a black card with 15 minutes left to play, giving the Kerry side a numerical advantage at a key stage in the game.

They would get their noses in front late on, although the Roscommon side showed a huge amount of fight to get back into the game. AFL star Mark O’Connor would produce a heroic block to stop a Brigid’s goal, just before injury time, although Anthony Cunningham’s side would score the resulting 45 to put a point between the sides.

While Paul Geaney would extend the lead back to two soon after, there was still time for Ruadhrí Fallon to score a last gasp equaliser.

65 nóim@DingleGAA 0-17@StBrigidsRos 1-14

Cad é mar crógacht, cad é mar scór faighte ag Ruaidhrí Fallon!!!🤯2⃣

The wing back steps up and curls over a beauty of a 2 pointer! Not only had they suffered the heartbreak of the levelling score in normal time, but they also trailed by two points in the dying moments of the match.

Paul Geaney was once again instrumental in the result, producing a top class display.

The Kerry man also showed his class after the final whistle. Instead of celebrating with his teammates, he would go and commiserate the St Brigid’s players once the referee brought the game to an end. He singled out the heroic Ruaidhrí Fallon for particular praise.

You can see the moment in question from around 1:40 in the video below.

82 nóim@DingleGAA 0-23 @StBrigidsRos 1-19

Mikey Geaney leis an iarracht agus Geaney leis an scór chun an chluiche a bhuacaint!😱🤯🤝

After a titanic battle, Dingle are All Ireland Club Champions after extra time!!

BEO/LIVETG4 AR @TG4TV 📺 #GAABEO pic.twitter.com/peKTbeAHTg

— Spórt TG4 (@SportTG4) January 18, 2026

A top class operator.

This is a magnificent occasion for Dingle as a whole, but Geaney is particularly deserving of the accolades that will rightly come his way after the latest landmark achievement is his storied GAA career.

SEE ALSO: Colm O’Rourke Says Three GAA Counties Will Have ‘No Interest’ In Winning League

Dingle have claimed their first ever All-Ireland title in the most dramatic of circumstances, overcoming Roscommon’s St Brigid’s…

[3
9,10,18,13,14,6,19,17,957,11,12,15,16,5,7,8
0":"post-292175","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-headlines","8":"tag-breaking-news","9":"tag-breakingnews","10":"tag-eire","11":"tag-featured-news","12":"tag-featurednews","13":"tag-headlines","14":"tag-ie","15":"tag-ireland","16":"tag-kerry","17":"tag-latest-news","18":"tag-latestnews","19":"tag-main-news","20":"tag-mainnews","21":"tag-news","22":"tag-top-stories","23":"tag-topstories
["GET
