The latest rumor for Marvel Studios\u2019 upcoming Avengers: Doomsday<\/a><\/strong> movie has arrived online, teasing a new update about the Young Avengers<\/a>\u2018 rumored appearance. Doomsday premieres in theaters on December 18, 2026, followed by the theatrical release of Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s the new Avengers: Doomsday update?<\/p>\n

On X, when asked about the potential inclusion of the Young Avengers in Avengers: Doomsday, insider James Mack claimed that there will reportedly be three members of the Young Avengers team who\u2019ll appear in the next Avengers movie. Before this rumor, a previous report suggested that the fan-favorite superhero team\u2019s possible appearance in Doomsday and Secret Wars will reportedly set up the studio\u2019s long-rumored Young Avengers TV show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s debut was actually first teased at the end of 2023\u2019s The Marvels, where Iman Vellani\u2019s Kamala Khan\/Ms. Marvel invited Hailee Steinfeld\u2019s Kate Bishop to form a new group with other young heroes like them. Since then, rumors started circulating online about the potential project. A previous report suggested that the studio might be developing a show titled Champions, which would possibly merge the Young Avengers and Champions lineup from the comics.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, with Stephen McFeely writing the screenplay. The latest installment will feature the return of Avengers vets Robert Downey Jr.<\/a>, Chris Hemsworth<\/a>, and Chris Evans<\/a>.
