\n\tAnna Kendrick<\/a> is in negotiations to co-star with Seth Rogen<\/a> in the Los Angeles-set contemporary comedy drama \u201cBabies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film will be directed by Lauren Miller Rogen (\u201cLike Father\u201d) from her original screenplay.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBabies\u201d is an ensemble comedy drama about the journey to parenthood\u2026 or not. Struggling with the decision of whether or not to bring a child into the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves into their home with her 3-year-old.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is set to begin production this November in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

\n\tAGC Studios and Monarch Media will co-finance and produce the movie alongside Lylas Pictures.<\/p>\n

\n\tLylas Pictures\u2019 Miller Rogen and Jen W. Ray, AGC Studios\u2019 chairman and CEO Stuart Ford, and Monarch\u2019s partner and CEO Steve Barnett will produce, with AGC\u2019s Miguel A. Palos, Jr. and Zach Garrett, Monarch\u2019s Alan Powell and Vicky Patel and Lylas\u2019 Sophie H\u00f8egh serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tAGC and CAA Media Finance will co-rep worldwide rights.<\/p>\n

\n\tMiller Rogen\u2019s credits include writing, directing and producing the Netflix original film \u201cLike Father,\u201d starring Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer, and writing, starring in and producing the indie comedy \u201cFor a Good Time, Call\u2026,\u201d which was released by Focus Features. She is also attached to direct the horror comedy \u201cBe Mine\u201d with Project X\/Radio Silence for MRC and the action comedy \u201cSky Dancers\u201d for Original Film. Her writing credits include films and TV shows for Netflix, Sony, Lionsgate, Fox, NBC and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tKendrick\u2019s film credits include \u201cUp in the Air,\u201d \u201cAlice, Darling,\u201d \u201cA Simple Favor,\u201d \u201cThe Accountant,\u201d and the \u201cPitch Perfect\u201d and \u201cTrolls\u201d franchises. She is currently in production on Chris Rock\u2019s untitled directorial debut for A24. She appears in the film opposite Adam Driver and Daniel Kaluuya. <\/p>\n

\n\tRogen starred in, wrote, directed and produced comedy \u201cThe Studio\u201d for Apple TV+, which earned 23 Emmy-nominations. He also co-created, wrote, and starred in the animated series \u201cSausage Party: Foodtopia\u201d for Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n

\n\tUp next, Rogen stars in and produced \u201cPlatonic\u201d Season 2, premiering Aug. 6 on Apple TV+, and stars in \u201cGood Fortune,\u201d alongside Keanu Reeves and Aziz Ansari, releasing Oct. 17. He recently wrapped \u201cThe Invite,\u201d a comedy directed by Olivia Wilde.
