July 22 death<\/a>. After leading the crowd through a chant of \u201cOzzy! Ozzy!,\u201d guitarist Daron Malakian summoned the spirit of Osbourne by quoting that singer\u2019s trademark introduction: \u201cWe\u2019re gonna do a number now about cocaine, it\u2019s called \u2018Snowblind.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\tSystem of a Down first covered \u201cSnowblind\u201d over 25 years ago as part of the soundtrack for Ozzy\u2019s MTV reality show The Osbournes. While the Vol. 4 track was in heavy rotation in System of a Down\u2019s live repertoire at the turn of the millennium, the band hadn\u2019t played \u201cSnowblind\u201d in concert since an August 2002 show at that year\u2019s OzzFest, appropriately.<\/p>\n
\n\tFollowing Osbourne\u2019s death, the members of System of a Down each paid tribute to the heavy metal legend on social media, where they also shared behind-the-scenes footage from the OzzFests.<\/p>\n
