Oppo<\/a> might be mostly known for its smartphones<\/a>, but also has made a name for itself in the smartwatch<\/a> industry with some class-leading technology. <\/p>\n

For example, the OEM’s BES2800 co-processor helps the\u00a0Watch X2 (also available\u00a0on Amazon<\/a>\u00a0as the OnePlus Watch 3<\/a>) get up to 120 hours of use per charge. <\/p>\n

It is about to make a return in Oppo’s next smartwatch, according to a new leak, which might mean it stands to comprehensively beat the\u00a0Pixel Watch 4<\/a> in this regard, as the new\u00a0Google flagship is still rated for 30 hours of battery life at best. <\/p>\n

The\u00a0BES2800 might be paired to the Plus version of the Watch 4’s satellite-capable Snapdragon W5 Gen 2<\/a> SoC, even though that higher-end version has a\u00a0QCC5100 back-up chip of its own. <\/p>\n

The “Watch X3” might also be able to improve on the Pixel Watch 4’s round OLED display with the addition of a rotating crown<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The “X3” might also be able to read ECGs, like some of its more Apple Watch<\/a>-like predecessors<\/a>\u00a0(albeit in China only), and to support “all-day health monitoring”. <\/p>\n

Then again, there is no mention of the Watch 4’s dedicated sensors for stress<\/a> and skin temperature<\/a> in relation to the “Watch X3” as yet. <\/p>\n

Given the fact that the Watch X2 debuted in February 2025<\/a>, and that the noted leaker Digital Chat Station<\/a> predicts its successor will launch alongside a new smartphone, tablet and audio peripherals, it is possible that Oppo’s new flagship smartwatch will be introduced as part of the “Find X9 Ultra<\/a>” event early next year.<\/p>\n
