Actors Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman announced them during an event on Thursday, January 22. Explore a full list of nominees below.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Coogler\u2019s Sinners picked up a record 16 nominations, including one for Best Picture, where it comeptes alongside Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, Bugonia, Sentimental Value, and Hamnet, among others. Each of them picked up a strong haul of overall nods (though, perplexingly, Daniel Lopatin\u2019s excellent <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/daniel-lopatin-marty-supreme-original-soundtrack\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marty Supreme<\/a> score went <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/jonny-greenwood-max-richter-nominated-for-best-original-score-at-2026-oscars\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unrecognized<\/a>). Wicked: For Good was also snubbed, picking up a grand total of zero nominations despite having two tracks shortlisted for <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/oscars-2026-nick-cave-huntr-x-nominated-for-best-original-song\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Best Original Song<\/a>. Conan O\u2019Brien is hosting the ceremony, which takes place on March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/oscars-2025-winners-see-the-full-list-here\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last year\u2019s ceremony<\/a>, Sean Baker\u2019s film Anora led the pack with five wins: Best Original Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Director, Best Actress, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/oscars-2025-anora-wins-best-picture\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Best Picture<\/a>.
