\n\tOn the heels of her Golden Globe win<\/a>, One Battle After Another<\/a> star Teyana Taylor<\/a> scored her first Oscar nomination<\/a> Thursday in the supporting actress category.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am still processing. I am in shock,\u201d she tells The Hollywood Reporter on a call shortly after learning about her nod. The actor and singer is on her way to Saturday Night Live as she chats, prepping to host this coming weekend. She jokes that her voice is in rough shape because she and team were \u201cscreaming and hollering\u201d at the top of their lungs.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to her already successful awards campaign for One Battle After Another, Taylor has managed to grab a Grammy nomination<\/a> for her album, which was released last year. It\u2019s not lost on the performer that all of these accolades are coming at the same time.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt takes me back to when I first retired from music because I felt like they were trying to box me in, and I remember nobody believing me when I told them that I could do it all,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI consider myself a Glade plugin. Why only be plugged in the bathroom when you can make the whole house smell good?\u201d she continues. \u201cThe fact that everything is happening at once \u2014 being nominated for a Grammy for my album and nominated for Oscar for acting and winning a Golden Globe, it just is a testament of really standing 10 toes down on your dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTaylor also shared that she spoke to fellow nominee, Hamnet star Jessie Buckley<\/a> this morning after they learned about their Oscar nominations<\/a>. \u201c[She] texted me, and we got on FaceTime,\u201d the actress says. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe both were on FaceTime, just screaming. She\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m so proud of you.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m so proud of you,\u2019\u201d she recalls. \u201cIt feels good to just all be so proud of one another.\u201d <\/p>\n
