Some social welfare recipients will be paid early next week<\/p>\n

There will be a shakeup to the social welfare payment<\/a> next week which will see some recipients paid earlier than expected.<\/p>\n

Banks and post offices will be shut on Monday, February 2 due to The St Brigid’s Day bank holiday. This results in any social welfare<\/a> payments scheduled for the Monday, as well as Child Benefit due on the Tuesday, being made available on Friday the 30th or Saturday the 31st of January.<\/p>\n

Due to the bank holiday on Monday, parents can expect their Child Benefit payments to land in their accounts on either Friday or Saturday. This is typically the case when a bank holiday Monday falls before the first Tuesday of the month.<\/p>\n
