A teenage old girl has been critically injured after she was struck by a scrambler in west Dublin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is understood the young girl was struck by the scrambler bike, which was being driven by a teen on Ratoath Road in Finglas<\/a> at around lunchtime today.<\/p>\n

Gardai and emergency services<\/a> rushed to the scene – including a number of ambulances from Dublin Fire Brigade<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Crowds of shocked locals gathered around the area as officers sealed off the road and paramedics tended to the injured girl.<\/p>\n

There are fears for the girl’s welfare, and at this time gardai are not commenting regarding that aspect.<\/p>\n

Asked for comment, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana<\/a> told The Irish Mirror: “Garda\u00ed and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on Ratoath Road, Finglas, Dublin 11 this afternoon, Sunday 25th January 2026.<\/p>\n

“The road is currently closed.”<\/p>\n

“As this is an ongoing incident there is no further information available at this time.”<\/p>\n
