Tottenham are set to seal the signing of Netherlands international Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig after he completed a medical, according to reports.<\/p>\n
Spurs have been searching for a new attacking midfielder for months with their recruitment team failing in attempts to sign Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze.<\/p>\n
Their need for a new player in that position has ramped up in recent weeks with James Maddison suffering an ACL injury that is likely to keep him out for most of the season.<\/p>\n
