We\u2019d commented, on departure, that while the starters were nice, they needed to ramp up what had been the bland soapy tasting broth that was the all important base of their seafood ramen, which my friend found impossible to eat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Well, as a very long-time resident of Monkstown, who\u2019s seen more restaurants come and go down the decades than you could count, including in said premises, that was a new one on me. We\u2019d already mentioned it to the friendly young girl looking after us at the table, as she removed an almost full bowl, for which we paid without demur, yet no nominal allowance or apology was offered.
