Founded by Rajah Amore and Kimberley Webber, it emerged from a life-altering health crisis that reshaped both their approach to well-being and their sense of purpose.<\/p>\n
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Amore suffered a heart attack that forced a confrontation with mortality and long-standing habits. \u201cDuring the pandemic I suffered a heart attack, and it completely changed how I viewed health and life. I had to rebuild my wellness using real tools \u2013 food, herbs, and a more supportive environment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The rebuilding was slow and exacting. At his lowest point, Amore struggled to walk and lost the ability to sing, a lifelong passion. Recovery demanded both discipline and curiosity: months of learning, reading and experimentation, alongside a reliance on traditional Caribbean bush remedies. <\/p>\n
\u201cI drank practically every bush you could think of. I was desperate to feel like myself again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Throughout the ordeal, Webber provided steady care and encouragement. \u201cShe cared for me, kept me encouraged, and helped me stay positive and hopeful when I needed it most,\u201d Amore recalled.<\/p>\n
After nearly 18 months of deliberate self-care, his health returned \u2013 and with it a new sense of direction. <\/p>\n
\u201cI realised people do not have to live stuck in weight struggles, chronic symptoms, or feeling disconnected from their bodies. When we learn to love ourselves a little more, we start to make choices that support healing,\u201d Amore said. <\/p>\n
That insight became the foundation of Amore Ital Living. Its name reflects its ethos. \u201cAmore means \u2018love\u2019,\u201d he explained, \u201cand Ital Living reflects the clean, intentional way of eating and living we promote. At its core, we help people love themselves, through ital food and an ital lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked to define the experience in three words, Amore was succinct: rooted, restorative, empowering.<\/p>\n
He identified a persistent gap in Jamaica\u2019s wellness landscape. Many people want to detox, lose weight or improve gut health, yet lack practical guidance and sustained support. <\/p>\n

Amore is a certified detox specialist; Webber holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry and is nearing completion of her naturopathy certification. \u201cThe most challenging part has been scaling while protecting the integrity of the brand,\u201d Amore admitted. \u201cWhen something is rooted in care, education, and personal transformation you cannot rush it.\u201d<\/p>\n
