The View<\/a> cohost Joy Behar<\/a> still isn’t on the show this week, with the 83-year-old comedian missing her third consecutive episode due to a mystery illness.<\/p>\n

After sitting out on Monday, as Behar typically has that day off on the weekly schedule, Ana Navarro<\/a> filled in for the cohost on Tuesday’s broadcast, with moderator Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> informing the audience why Behar wasn’t on the show that day.<\/p>\n

“We want to let you know Joy is out, she’s not feeling well, so we want her to feel better and get her behind back here,” Goldberg, 70, said at the top of Tuesday’s live show.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Navarro again filled in for Behar, though Goldberg did not address her colleague’s absence as the cohosts sat down at the Hot Topics table.<\/p>\n

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for The View for comment on Behar’s absence and when she might return to the panel.<\/p>\n

Her current hiatus marks Behar’s second sustained absence from The View in recent months, after she missed four episodes in a row in November 2025<\/a>, also due to a health issue.<\/p>\n

Upon Behar’s return to the table, the cohosts did not, as they usually do, walk out to set at the top of the show.<\/p>\n

“Now, I’ve been off for a few days,” Behar said at the time, noting that it was difficult for her to walk due to a mishap with a technological device.<\/p>\n

“I dropped my iPad on my foot and I broke my toe,” Behar told the audience. “And they put the toes together because it’s broken, and it’s very, very, very painful. I do not recommend you dropping anything on your toes.”<\/p>\n

Behar’s feet have played a notable role in The View\u00a0history.<\/p>\n

The star famously got a foot massage from Matthew McConaughey live on the air, while\u00a0Behar also famously told fellow comic Matt Rogers to “shut up”<\/a>\u00a0on a prior episode when he revealed during an interview that he once saw Behar shoeless on an airplane.<\/p>\n

“I get to shake Joy Behar up on\u00a0The View?\u00a0In a way, I guess I had a little\u00a0View\u00a0conflict, which, as a little gay boy who’s always watched\u00a0The View,\u00a0you look forward to that,”\u00a0Rogers later told EW in an interview about the moment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The View airs weekdays on ABC.<\/p>\n
