(Image: Colin Keegan, Collins, Dublin)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A man is due in court after being caught dangerously driving a scrambler with a four year old child as a passenger.The man, who is known to gardai and in his 20s, was caught driving the scrambler in the Mulhuddart area of West Dublin today- and was stopped by gardai who were on patrol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">He was taken to a garda station where he was subsequently charged. He is due to appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday morning.In a statement to this paper gardai said:\u201cGarda\u00ed have arrested an adult male (aged in 20s) in connection with a dangerous driving incident which occurred in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 today, Wednesday 28th January 2026.At the time, Garda\u00ed were on proactive patrol in a residential area when they observed a scrambler being driven in a dangerous manner. Garda\u00ed seized the vehicle under Section 109A Road Traffic Act 1961 as amended.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2_JS394285092.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p aria-label=\"Grace Lynch. \" class=\"ImageCaption_caption-title__ccyQU\" data-testid=\"caption-title\">Grace Lynch. <\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cGarda\u00ed arrested the adult male and he has since been charged with Road Traffic Offences. \u201cHe is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court, tomorrow Thursday 28th January 2026 at 10:30am.
