Photo: Niall Carson\/PA Images<\/p>\n<p>Met \u00c9ireann has warned that heavy rain, combined with saturated grounds and high river levels, could lead to more flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Home owners and businesses across the east and south east are still counting the cost after being hit by significant flooding following Storm Chandra earlier in the week.<\/p>\n<p>Several parts of Enniscorthy town centre were impassable on Tuesday with dozens of homes and businesses under several metres of water.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"536\" width=\"953\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1769679248_980_met-eireann-warns-of-more-flooding-with-rain-warnings-in-place.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1859133 aligncenter fixed-width-container\"\/><\/p>\n<p> The River Slaney bursts its banks in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
