Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, made a rare appearance at a screening of Self Custody on Friday, Jan. 2,3 at the Sundance Film Festival<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Pax was spotted chatting to movie makers Garrett Patten and Fernando Ferro before heading to a party<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Pax, who was adopted from Vietnam in 2007, is one of six children shared by the former couple<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Angelina Jolie<\/a> and Brad Pitt<\/a>\u2019s son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt<\/a>, is making a rare red carpet appearance.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old posed at a screening of the movie Self Custoday on Friday, Jan 23, alongside director Garrett Patten and producer Fernando Ferro.<\/p>\n Pax, who wore a red plaid overshirt for the occasion, was spotted chatting to the men behind the drama, which stars Adrian Grenier,<\/a> before heading to a party at the Park City, Utah, festival.<\/p>\n Of course, Pax has been exposed to movie-making since Jolie and Pitt adopted him<\/a> in the early 2000s. As a child, he went to the 2018 Golden Globes<\/a> and walked the red carpet at the world premiere of Jolie\u2019s 2019 film Maleficent: Mistress of Evil<\/a>.<\/p>\n Pax also made a cameo in Jolie\u2019s 2014 film Maleficent<\/a> and voiced the character of Yoo in his mom’s 2016 film Kung Fu Panda 3<\/a>, but Jolie says her boy is actually more comfortable behind the camera.<\/p>\n \u201cNone of my children want to be actors,\u201d she told BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour<\/a> in 2016. \u201cI think they like the process of film from the outside.\u201d<\/p>\n Jerod Harris\/Getty <\/p>\n And in 2019, she told Extra<\/a>, \u201c[Movies are] a part of their life. But it’s not important to them and a center of their lives in a way that’s unhealthy. It\u2019s all fun.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress also noted to Women\u2019s Hour that music may form part of Pax\u2019s future. \u201cThey are actually very interested in being musicians,\u201d Jolie said. \u201cPax loves music and deejaying,” she added.<\/p>\n Pax was born in Vietnam on Nov. 29, 2003, spending his early years at the Tam Binh Orphanage just outside of Ho Chi Minh City. Jolie adopted him in 2007, while Pitt later formally adopted their son in 2008, as regulations made it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt.<\/p>\n lberto E. They all have their flags over their beds and their individual pride.\u201d<\/p>\n The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star \u2014 who was formally divorced from Pitt in 2024<\/a> \u2014 also told WSJ.
