While it’s neat to see that sort of feature coming back in new hardware, there’s another reference to Nintendo that the Big N will no doubt be upset about.

In promoting their hardware, Abxylute is using the image above. We’re not sure who on the Abxylute team put that picture together, but they’re going to want to change it as soon as possible, as it features some Nintendo properties that Nintendo definitely didn’t give approval for.

While the Abxylute 3D One works with all sorts of games in your Steam library, there’s simply no way Nintendo’s titles should be in there. Nintendo hasn’t released a single game on Steam, yet the promo page for the Abxylute 3D One showcases both Super Mario Odyssey and Fire Emblem: Awakening. If you’re playing those titles on your PC, you’re either a preservationist who’s backed up their Nintendo library, or you’re sailing the high seas.

Now that word is spreading on this use of Nintendo’s brands to promote their product, we have a feeling Abxylute will yank the images any minute now. We’ll keep an eye on their page to see if/when that happens, because you can bet Nintendo’s ninjas are getting ready to pounce.

The Abxylute 3D One is an upcoming handheld PC that allows for glasses-free 3D, just like the 3DS…

[260
18,19,17,82,286,287,288
0":"post-31162","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-virtual-reality","8":"tag-eire","9":"tag-ie","10":"tag-ireland","11":"tag-technology","12":"tag-virtual-reality","13":"tag-virtualreality","14":"tag-vr
["GET
