One of Andrew’s most treasured business ventures is being closed down as he prepares to move from Royal Lodge to a much smaller property on the Sandringham estate<\/p>\n

The former Prince Andrew has closed down one of his key businesses ahead of his move away from the Royal Lodge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pitch@Palace, launched in 2014 as an accelerator\/incubator firm where entrepreneurs could pitch their ideas to potential investors in a similar vein to Dragon’s Den<\/a>, is to be dissolved on February 3, according to documents filed with Companies House. An application to dissolve the UK side of the operation was already submitted in November<\/a>, signed by the company’s sole director Arthur Lancaster.<\/p>\n

Andrew<\/a>‘s company halted operations around late 2019 and the UK side ceased in 2021, but Pitch@Palace Global remained operational internationally.<\/p>\n

Dutch firm Startup Bootcamp showed interest in buying out the initiative, but the deal fell through in 2025. Most of the remaining funds have been withdrawn over recent years, with the latest accounts showing just \u00a310,965 at the end of March, down from \u00a3220,990 the previous year. The Mirror<\/a> has approached Andrew for comment.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun, a friend of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor said: “Pitch@Palace Global had a slow and inevitable death but proved impossible to resurrect after he was stripped of all royal titles. It was for many years one of Andrew’s proudest achievements but with it finally wound-up, his impending exile is looking to be not just a fresh start but also retirement.”<\/p>\n

It comes as Andrew prepares to finally move out from Royal Lodge after being evicted from the Windsor mansion by King Charles<\/a> last year. He is set to move into Marsh Farm, a considerably smaller property located on the Sandringham Estate, over the coming weeks – and is said to have been left unimpressed on his first viewings of his new home.<\/p>\n

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor is said to have described the five-bedroom house as being “in the middle of nowhere”, with one insider told royal commentator Rob Shuter: “The moment he walked in, his face dropped. He thought it was beneath him. Too small, too isolated \u2014 he actually called it the middle of nowhere.”<\/p>\n

Andrew was forced to give up his Windsor home, Royal Lodge, after it emerged he had been paying a ‘peppercorn rent’ for the \u00a330 million property. The former prince was stripped of his titles last year after the posthumous release of Virginia Giuffre\u2019s book Nobody\u2019s Girl.<\/p>\n

The memoir included allegations against a number of well-known public figures, including Andrew.
