Margot must decide whether loyalty, forgiveness or truth will define the end of their long, heady friendship. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tNina Raine adapted the screenplay from Gaitskill\u2019s novella, which was hugely acclaimed when it was released in 2019 and praised for offering a nuanced distillation of the #MeToo movement. Gaitskill previously saw her short story \u201cSecretary\u201d \u2014\u00a0taken from her 1988 collection \u201cBad Behavior \u2014\u00a0adapted into 2002\u2019s now cult BDSM romance starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThis Is Pleasure\u201d is a Fremantle production from Killer Films\u2019 Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler (\u201cMay December,\u201d \u201cMaterialists\u201d) with Chastain\u2019s Freckle Films and Pine\u2019s Barry Linen Motion Pictures also producing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tCAA Media Finance and The Veterans are handling worldwide sales and will introduce the project at <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/efm\/\" id=\"auto-tag_efm\" data-tag=\"efm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">EFM<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tChastain is represented by CAA, Mosaic, imPRint and Hansen, Jacobson; Pine is represented by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Viewpoint and Gendler, Kelly &amp; Cunningham; Berman and Pulcini are represented by CAA and Anonymous Content.
