The ethereal performance saw the trio backed by the Voices of Fire choir fitted in Louis Vuitton robes and bathed in blue light. As they closed out their set, snow drifted across the stage and audience. It was a celebratory moment for Clipse. The Virginia Beach legends took home their first Grammy award for Best Rap Performance for \u201cChains &amp; Whips\u201d earlier in the night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLast year\u2019s universally acclaimed Let God Sort Em Out, the duo\u2019s first album in 16 years, earned Clipse five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. \u201cThis one is for the fans, those that waited around, those that were looking to see if we would ever come back and do music together,\u201d Malice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/clipse-new-album-tour-announcement-1235358130\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told<\/a> Rolling Stone last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAfter 2009\u2019s Til the Casket Drops, Malice stepped away from rap, while Pusha T built a formidable solo career. It took Williams, the legendary producer who first convinced them to form a duo back in Virginia Beach,\u00a0 to orchestrate a proper return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLet God Sort Em Out has been widely praised as both a successful reunion and a bold creative statement. Produced entirely by Williams and featuring heavyweight guest appearances from Nas, Kendrick Lamar, and John Legend, the album fuses Clipse\u2019s raw storytelling with polished, contemporary production. Songs like the introspective\u00a0\u201cThe Birds Don\u2019t Sing,\u201d\u00a0which addresses themes of loss and resilience, and lead single \u201cAce Trumpets,\u201d helped anchor the project\u2019s narrative and artistic thrust and made it land at the top of\u00a0Rolling Stone\u2019s Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tMalice\u2019s verse on the album\u2019s opening track, \u201cThe Birds Don\u2019t Sing,\u201d draws from a conversation with his father shortly before his death. \u201cWe were sitting in the car,\u201d Malice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/clipse-pusha-t-malice-new-album-interview-1235076985\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told<\/a> Rolling Stone in 2024. \u201cAnd I asked him, \u2018What do you think about me rapping again?\u2019 He said, \u2018Son, I think you\u2019ve been too hard on yourself. You still have to get out here in this world.
