On Saturday, Elon Musk<\/a> expressed his discontent with a rumor that Oscar winner Lupita Nyong\u2019o<\/a> will be playing Helen of Troy in Christopher Nolan<\/a>\u2019s upcoming adaptation of Homer\u2019s epic poem, \u201cThe Odyssey.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cChris Nolan has lost his integrity,\u201d Musk wrote.<\/p>\n

What makes the SpaceX founder\u2019s remark even more eyebrow-raising is that he wrote it in the comment section of a X post by a user who \u2014 let\u2019s just say \u2014 might have been a fan of Sydney Sweeney\u2019s American Eagle ad<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cHelen of troy was fair skinned, blonde, and \u2018the face that launched a thousand ships\u2019 because she was so beautiful that men started a war over her,\u201d the post that Musk responded to read.<\/p>\n

\"LupitaLupita Nyong\u2019o winning an Oscar in 2014 for her role in \u201c12 Years a Salve\u201d and Elon Musk.<\/p>\n

The X user goes on to complain that Nyong\u2019o in the role would be an \u201cinsult to the author\u201d \u2026 who died thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n

HuffPost has reached out to Nolan and Nyong\u2019o for comment. <\/p>\n

Although the \u201cBlack Panther\u201d star is listed on IMDb as an actor in Nolan\u2019s<\/a> project, her specific role is not listed, which has led to speculation and backlash from a certain ilk of X user. <\/p>\n

And speaking of integrity, Musk didn\u2019t show much of it himself when he led the so-called Department of Government Efficiency last year. The tech billionaire with zero government experience promised he\u2019d embark on a federal spending overhaul that would cut waste. <\/p>\n
