The 10-episode psychological thriller will arrive on the streamer on June 5, 2026 with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through July 31.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tA few photos of lead cast members Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and Javier Bardem were also released on Tuesday, although they do not provide much context for the situation their characters might find themselves in. See those above (Adams) and below (Bardem and Wilson).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCape Fear is based on the novel\u00a0The Executioners, which inspired Gregory Peck\u2019s 1962 film and the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg\u2019s Amblin Entertainment. EPs include Scorsese, Antosca and Alex Hedlund for Eat The Cat; Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television; Bardem; Adams; and Morten Tyldum, who directs the pilot.
