Finneas<\/a> has hit back at those who have criticised Billie Eilish<\/a> for her anti-ICE speech at the 2026 Grammys<\/a>, saying: \u201cWe can literally see your names in the Epstein files\u201d.<\/p>\n

Eilish called out the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a> (ICE) at last weekend\u2019s awards ceremony<\/a>, when she accepted the award for Song Of The Year with the \u2018Hit Me Hard and Soft<\/a>\u2019 track, \u2018Wildflower\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cFuck ICE,\u201d she said, wearing a pin that also read \u201cICE OUT\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs grateful as I feel, I honestly don\u2019t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I feel really hopeful in this room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter\u2026 and fuck ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her comments come as there has been widespread condemnation and protests against ICE in recent weeks \u2013 particularly as it has been connected with the deaths of at least eight people<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following the appearance at the Grammys, some have been quick to hit out at Eilish for her comments \u2013 with United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem calling the singer \u201cill-informed\u201d, and Elon Musk<\/a> branding her as a \u201chypocrite\u201d (via Far Out<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Now, record producer, musician, and Eilish\u2019s brother, Finneas, has come to his sister\u2019s defence.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24-year-old sister said during her acceptance speech. We can literally see your names in the Epstein files,\u201d he wrote on Threads.<\/p>\n

He also called out USA Today for posting an article that accused Eilish and Bad Bunny<\/a> \u2013 who also called out ICE at the Grammys<\/a> \u2013 of having \u201cidiotic views on politics and President Trump\u201d.<\/p>\n

Responding to the headline, Finneas wrote: \u201cYou can\u2019t say it doesn\u2019t matter what musicians or celebrities say or think, but then talk about it for days. You\u2019re out here making it matter. I\u2019ll keep speaking up, especially if it keeps bothering you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donald Trump<\/a> also came forward to hit back at those speaking out against ICE at the Grammys, taking to Truth Social<\/a> to describe this year\u2019s ceremony as \u201cthe worst\u201d, \u201cgarbage\u201d, and \u201cvirtually unwatchable\u201d.<\/p>\n

He also said that he would \u201chave some fun\u201d suing Trevor Noah over the comments he made while hosting the Grammys<\/a>, which related to Epstein island and Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n

The Grammys weren\u2019t the first time that Eilish has voiced her opinion on ICE. Last month she urged other famous people to speak out about ICE\u2019s actions in Minnesota<\/a> \u2013 which led to the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.<\/p>\n

Before then, she called the agency a \u201cfederally funded and supported terrorist group\u201d<\/a> that was \u201ctearing apart families, terrorising citizens, and now murdering innocent people\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) subsequently responded to Eilish<\/a>\u2019s claims, and said: \u201cIt\u2019s garbage rhetoric from the likes of Billie Eilish that is leading to a 1,300 per cent increase in assaults and 3,200 per cent increase in vehicle rammings against our brave law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish and Finneas, countless other artists have been vocal about the escalating violence from ICE, including Bruce Springsteen, who penned the new song \u2018Streets Of Minneapolis\u2019<\/a>, as well as Tom Morello<\/a>, Lady Gaga<\/a> and many more.<\/p>\n
