ILION, N.Y. — The Village of Ilion is warning municipal power customers about expected spikes in their energy bills.<\/p>\n

Officials said the municipal power authority held an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.<\/p>\n

They are advising ratepayers that the increase is due to an unprecedented rise in market price electric costs.<\/p>\n

Customers are expected to see higher bills as a result.<\/p>\n
