The Music Cafe, located on Wellington Quay, was known for its welcoming atmosphere and music several times a week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Its announcement today that is has closed stunned customers who frequently visited the<a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/all-about\/temple-bar\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\"> Temple Bar <\/a>spot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A post on Instagram said: &#8220;With great regret, we announce our immediate closure. The financial burden that has hit us in recent times has put too much stress on the business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;We are looking at all options and hope to bring you something bigger and better in the future. But for now, it&#8217;s goodbye. Thanks all, the staff at TMCD.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The Music Cafe opened its doors in 2012 in the Grattan House building that is under a preservation order due to its architectural and historical history, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dublinlive.ie\/news\/dublin-news\/music-cafe-announces-immediate-closure-33377100\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Dublin Live<\/a> reports. Many people shared their memories of the cafe and called for support to keep it open.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">One person said: &#8220;We loved coming here when we were visiting Dublin. Please let us know if we can support you even though we are abroad&#8221;, with another adding: &#8220;Is there any way the community could support you during this time? I know that this place is such a landmark for so many locals!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">It also holds meaning for people who were creating a life in Dublin: &#8220;Omg I remember going there in my first year in Dublin trying to get my life together and feeling relaxed next to the Liffey and the vibes of the cafe I hope you make it somewhere else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Another shared their shock, saying: &#8220;Aw my goodness i would have dropped everything to come support on your last day, so sad to hear.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Blas Cafe at Kings Inn took to Instagram stories to show support, saying: &#8220;Devastated to hear about our neighbours having to close.
