Prepare for a few new faces in the ton.<\/p>\n

As Bridgerton season four<\/a> heats up between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson<\/strong>) and Sophie Baek (Yerin<\/strong> Ha<\/strong>), author Julia Quinn<\/strong> revealed that future seasons of the hit Netflix<\/a> show could be recast\u2014and the choice isn\u2019t completely hers to make.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t necessarily know how they\u2019re gonna spin it or write it,\u201d Julia told Us Weekly<\/a> in an interview published Feb. 7, \u201cor what they\u2019re going to keep and change.\u201d<\/p>\n

Specifically, Julia addressed speculation that the roles of youngest Bridgerton siblings<\/a> Hyacinth (Florence Hunt<\/strong>) and Gregory (Will Tilston<\/strong>) would be reassigned by the time it was their turns to enter the marriage mart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s funny because they were, like, 12 and 13 when they started,\u201d she explained. \u201cIf you asked me that back then, I\u2019d be like, \u2018I don\u2019t know.\u2019 But when I saw them again at the premiere, they were both drinking wine.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThey\u2019re both 18 now and Will was there with his girlfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n

With plans for the Regency Era-inspired series to run for eight seasons\u2014one for each of the novels in the book series that follows the eight Bridgerton siblings\u2014Julia noted that before production gets into the weeds of Hyacinth and Gregory\u2019s love stories, Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd<\/strong><\/a>) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie<\/strong>) are showrunner Jess Brownell<\/strong>\u2019s top priority.<\/p>\n

\u201cJess has said the next two seasons will be either Eloise and then Francesca or Francesca and then Eloise, which makes sense,\u201d the 56-year-old continued. \u201cIt takes a few years to film, so by the time we get to Hyacinth and Gregory, the actors are going to be well into their 20s.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I think it\u2019ll probably be OK,\u201d she added. \u201cWill it be weird that we knew them when they were 12? We see child stars grow up all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the New York Times bestselling author can see why it may be hard for viewers to see Florence and Will in more mature roles. After all, when she was writing their books It\u2019s In His Kiss and On the Way to the Wedding, Julia also grappled with penning the characters<\/a> into adult narratives.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a writer, it was hard to write those two books at first,\u201d she explained. \u201cI really had to let them grow up in my mind a bit and that was hard for both of them. I was really glad it took several years, but even so, I can\u2019t remember how much time passed in the writing.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI really had to let them grow up. It was tough.\u201d<\/p>\n
