\n\tWhether it\u2019s from their beds or from beyond the grave itself, Little Monsters everywhere are rising up after Lady Gaga<\/a> announced the release date for her new single, \u201cThe Dead Dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Thursday night (Aug. 28), Gaga attended Netflix and Spotify\u2019s \u201cGraveyard Gala\u201d in New York City, as part of the promotional Doom Tour for the hit series Wednesday season two. Joining her castmates Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers and Joy Sunday on stage at the event, Gaga announced that her long-rumored <\/a>new song will be released alongside the second part of the show\u2019s second season on Sept. 3.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a part of the show, and I\u2019m so excited for you to see it,\u201d Gaga told the cheering crowd of fans, before informing them that they would get an exclusive first listen of the song in a series of coffin-themed listening booths at the event. \u201cI hope you\u2019re really comfortable in your caskets,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

\n\tAt the event, the \u201cBad Romance\u201d singer also talked about her experience filming the show, thanking the cast and crew for making her \u201csmall part\u201d feel special. \u201cI had a wonderful time working on Wednesday season two,\u201d she said. \u201cI loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna and everyone here is so incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA new trailer for the second part of Wednesday season two appeared to tease Gaga\u2019s appearance on the show. While Mother Monster did not appear on screen during the 2-minute teaser, a voice heard at the very end of the trailer that sounded very much like the performer tells Ortega\u2019s titular heroine: \u201cBeware \u2014 there will be a price to pay.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news comes amid Gaga\u2019s headline-making Mayhem Ball<\/a> continues its run of dates in New York. After four sold-out performances at Madison Square Garden over the last week, Gaga will return for her final two shows at the iconic venue on Sept. 6 and 7.<\/p>\n
