Currently, <a class=\"_externalLinks_wioo3_126\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwarezone.com.sg\/mobile\/smartphones\/feature-apple-iphone-16-plus-pro-max-buying-guide-singapore-recommend#References\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the iPhone 16\/16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro\/Pro Max<\/a> only support 25W wireless charging speeds through a newer version of Apple\u2019s MagSafe Charger. <\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">This means in the near future, owners of the iPhone 16 series will be able to enjoy 25W wireless charging speeds with iOS 26 and any compatible Qi2 25W wireless charger \u2013 and not just Apple\u2019s own MagSafe charger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) <a class=\"_externalLinks_wioo3_126\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwarezone.com.sg\/mobile\/qi2-25w-announced-iphone-android-phones-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">introduced the Qi2 25W standard last month<\/a>. Formerly known as Qi v2.2.1, it delivers \u201c<b>nearly 70% more power than the original Qi2<\/b>\u201d. <\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The iPhone 17 is rumoured to <a class=\"_externalLinks_wioo3_126\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwarezone.com.sg\/mobile\/smartphones\/tech-news-apple-rumour-50w-wireless-magsafe-charging-iphone-17-qi-2-2?ref=exploremore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">support up to 50W wireless charging speeds<\/a>.
