Bill Maher<\/strong> is moaning that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> is \u201cvery mad\u201d at him \u2014 and admits the funnymen may never speak again.<\/p>\n

Bill dished about the fractured relationship to his Club Random<\/a> podcast guest Adam Carolla<\/strong>, who cohosted The Man Show on Comedy Central from 1999 to 2004 with longtime buddy Jimmy.<\/p>\n

Without elaborating on the reasons behind the schism, the Real Time host remarked to Adam, \u201cI hope you tell [Jimmy] that I\u2019m sorry that it got bent out of shape. I don\u2019t think I did anything wrong. We can have disagreements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Months earlier, Bill had called out the ABC gabfest guy\u2019s wife, Molly McNearney<\/strong>, for saying she\u2019d iced out Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2013supporting relatives amid the Republican president\u2019s ongoing criticism of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! emcee and other late-night TV yakkers, characterizing some of her pre-election efforts as shortsighted ultimatums, per Entertainment Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As Globe previously reported, 58-year-old Jimmy\u2019s show was briefly suspended by ABC in September following the liberal comic\u2019s comments about the assassination of conservative Turning Point USA cofounder Charlie Kirk<\/strong>, which some called<\/a> insensitive.<\/p>\n

At the time, the president trumpeted<\/a> that the network\u2019s move was \u201cgreat news for America,\u201d and also referred to The Tonight Show\u2019s Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> and Late Night\u2019s Seth Meyers<\/strong> as \u201ctotal losers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bill, 70, further bellyached to Adam, 61, about the differences between the political right and left in being able to discuss differences of opinion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t just buy into the left-wing bulls**t, and I never stop making fun of the right-wing bulls**t at all,\u201d Bill shared. \u201cI don\u2019t think Jimmy is an a**hole \u2026 I think he\u2019s a great guy, and it bugs me that, you know, because of what the latest thing was, that, you know, we may never talk again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peacemaker Adam then suggested the men could make up and added, \u201cYou guys should be thick as thieves and on the same page.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bill also addressed the Kimmel clash in an earlier Club Random<\/a> episode, explaining, \u201cI see they\u2019re mad at me. Uh, I\u2019m sorry. I mean, I was being, again, as respectful as I could, but I don\u2019t agree with that point of view. \u2026 I hope we\u2019re friends forever, but I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n
