The acclaimed actress, 56, ensured all eyes were on her in a striking black gown with a voluminous skirt made up of layers of dark grey feathers.<\/p>\n

The fitted black bodice accentuated her svelte waist, before flowing into the intricate winged skirt that fluttered behind her as she walked the carpet, resembling a bird taking flight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cate was joined by her co-stars\u00a0Vicky Krieps and Charlotte Rampling, with the three women putting on a warm display as they posed together in\u00a0coordinating all-black outfits.<\/p>\n

The glamorous trio showed their close bond extended off screen as they laughed and held hands together on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

Vicky, 41, commanded attention in a deceptively daring gown, that from the front appeared demure with an elegant high neckline with draped sleeves.<\/p>\n

Father Mother Sister Brother is comedy drama anthology film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch.<\/p>\n

It sees estranged siblings reunite after years apart, who are then forced to confront unresolved tensions and reevaluate their strained relationships with their emotionally distant parents.<\/p>\n

Cate plays\u00a0Lilith, with\u00a0Vicky as Timothea and Luka as Billy, with the\u00a0stellar cast also including Indya Moore, Adam Driver, Tom Waits, and Mayim Bialik.<\/p>\n

It marks\u00a0Jim’s first film in five year and sees the director reunite with Cate, after last working together on the 2003 anthology film Coffee & Cigarettes, which also featured Steve Buscemi and Iggy Pop<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Blue Jasmine star\u00a0was spotted filming the picture in County Dublin with Vicky in January last year, looking vastly different with a mousy brown bob and bookish spectacles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier on Sunday, Cate, Vicky, Charlotte, Indya and Jim larked about as they attended the\u00a0Father Mother Sister Brother photocall during the film festival.<\/p>\n

Cate put on another stylish display in a leather zip-up gilet studded with metallic triangular detailing, with a pair of satin black trousers.<\/p>\n

She cosied up to Charlotte, who cut a trendy figure in a black leather jacket over a button-up shirt and high-waisted grey trousers.<\/p>\n

While Vicky put on a leggy display in an olive green pleather miniskirt teamed with a matching jacket and black loafers.<\/p>\n

She playfully kicked one of her long legs up into the air as she linked arms with her co-stars for a group shot with director Jim.<\/p>\n

The indie filmmaker kept to his signature look, sporting a black shirt and jeans, as well as his classic dark shades.<\/p>\n

Cate’s appearance at the premiere comes after she attended the opening night of the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, recycling one of her best looks.<\/a><\/p>\n

She wore a jaw-dropping black gown that boasted\u00a0a very plunging neckline embellished with large stones to draw attention to her d\u00e9colletage and tiny waist.<\/p>\n

And it marked the second time that Cate stole the show on the red carpet in the daring Armani number, after first wearing the gown to the 2022 SAG Awards.<\/p>\n

While the two-time Oscar winner recently revealed her plans to eventually retire from acting, following a glittering career.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Radio Times<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year, Cate hesitated to define her job title before revealing she hopes to step away from the camera.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘It’s because I’m giving up [acting]. My family roll their eyes every time I say it, but I mean it. I am serious about giving up acting’.<\/p>\n

The Lord of the Rings star explained her desire to move away from acting was because she had ‘a lot of things I want to do with my life’.<\/p>\n

It’s not the first time that Cate has teased an eventual departure from the screen world, previously admitting to Vanity Fair\u00a0 that she often contemplated the idea.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2023, she confessed: ‘It’s not occasional\u2014it’s continual. On a daily or weekly basis, for sure.<\/p>\n

‘It’s a love affair, isn’t it?
