{"id":351716,"date":"2026-02-23T07:35:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T07:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/351716\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T07:35:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T07:35:09","slug":"watch-kpop-demon-hunters-stars-perform-golden-at-the-baftas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/351716\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch &#8216;KPop Demon Hunters&#8217; stars perform &#8216;Golden&#8217; at the BAFTAs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI lit up the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/tag\/bafta\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BAFTAs<\/a> stage on Sunday night with a performance of \u2018Golden\u2019 \u2013 watch below.<\/p>\n<p>The trio are the voices of HUNTR\/X, the fictional band from the Netflix smash hit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/films\/kpop-demon-hunters\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KPop Demon Hunters<\/a>,\u00a0and on Sunday night (February 22), they played the signature\u00a0song from the film\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/film\/here-are-all-the-winners-from-the-baftas-2026-3930811\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">during the BAFTA Film Awards ceremony<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>EJAE (the singing voice of Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and REI AMI (Zoey) played together for the first time outside of the United States, with an elaborate stage show that involved several dancers inspired by the aesthetic of the film.<\/p>\n<p>Watch their flamboyant performance here, introduced by BAFTAs host Alan Cumming:<\/p>\n<p>KPop\u00a0Demon Hunters\u00a0was one of the biggest hits of 2025, becoming\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/film\/kpop-demon-hunters-is-now-netflixs-most-watched-film-of-all-time-3887942\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the most watched film in Netflix history<\/a>. However,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/film\/kpop-demon-hunters-fans-angry-at-bafta-snub-the-disrespect-3908185\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the film was not eligible for the BAFTA Awards<\/a> due to regulations surrounding cinema releases.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/stars-of-kpop-demon-hunters-to-perform-at-2026-brit-awards-3929484\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The trio are also set to perform at next weekend\u2019s BRIT Awards<\/a>, where they will become the first K-pop artists ever to take to that stage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/ejae-remembers-k-pop-industry-rejecting-her-for-a-decade-as-golden-wins-best-song-at-golden-globes-never-give-up-3922634\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Golden\u2019 also took home the Best Song prize at the Golden Globes last month<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/grammys-2026-check-out-the-full-list-of-nominations-3906500\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">won the Grammy for Best Song Written For Visual Media<\/a>.\u00a0It is also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/nick-cave-nine-inch-nails-ed-sheeran-kpop-demon-hunters-jonny-greenwood-among-oscars-2026-best-original-song-shortlist-3919175\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">nominated for an Oscar for Best Song<\/a>\u00a0this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Golden\u2019\u00a0was named as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/lists\/end-of-year\/best-kpop-songs-2025-3916172\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the second best song of 2025 by\u00a0NME<\/a>, while\u00a0KPop Demon Hunters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/lists\/end-of-year\/best-films-2025-3913461\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was also included in the films of 2025 list<\/a>.
