A metal band has revealed that it is \u201cparting ways\u201d with its lead singer.<\/p>\n
Better Lovers is separating from Greg Puciato, the band said on social media Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cBetter Lovers is parting ways with Greg Puciato. We\u2019re proud of the work we\u2019ve done together but we are moving in another direction,\u201d Better Lovers wrote in an Instagram post<\/a> on Feb. 24.<\/p>\n \u201cTo all of our fans, thank you for riding with us these past few years. We\u2019ve accomplished so much in such a short time with your support and we\u2019re still beyond excited to continue down this road with you,\u201d the post continued. \u201cThe four of us are finishing writing a new album which we are extremely proud of and currently looking for a new singer. Thanks for your understanding, we\u2019ll see you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n While no reason was given for Pucaito\u2019s departure, the singer commented on the separation on his own Instagram<\/a> Story.<\/p>\n \u201cNo bad blood. Everyone\u2019s cool. Don\u2019t speculate,\u201d he wrote. \u201cLove these people and love the band. Rooting for them all collectively and individually. Thanks everyone for making the last few years special. Long live the frog.\u201d<\/p>\n Better Lovers formed in Buffalo, New York in 2023 following the disbandment of Every Time I Die. The metal group consists of guitarists Jordan Buckley and Will Putney, bassist Stephen Micciche, and drummer Clayton Holyoak. Puciato has been featured on two Better Lovers projects: 2023\u2019s \u201cGod Made Me an Animal\u201d and 2024\u2019s \u201cHighly Irresponsible,\u201d the latter which served as the band\u2019s debut album.<\/p>\n Just a few weeks ago, Better Lovers shared that the band was having \u201cso fun together\u201d while on tour in Australia.<\/p>\n \u201cOf all the places we\u2019ve flown 20 hours to play, your gorgeous country is our favorite. So here is a slightly belated but very loud thank you to every old friend and new face that packed in to see us at the end of last month,\u201d the group wrote in a Feb. 12 Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cBetter Lovers has been petal to the metal for almost three years now. Around the world and back.
