{"id":358048,"date":"2026-02-26T22:31:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/358048\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T22:31:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:31:18","slug":"google-rolls-out-nano-banana-2-after-viral-success-of-ai-image-generation-tool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/358048\/","title":{"rendered":"Google rolls out Nano Banana 2 after viral success of AI image generation tool"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Feb 26 (Reuters) &#8211; Google on Thursday unveiled a successor to its viral Nano Banana image generation model, touting faster \u200cperformance as the search-engine behemoth pushes to attract more users \u200cto its <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.yahoo.com\/ai\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:AI tools;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AI tools<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">The model, called Nano Banana 2, is being rolled out \u200bacross products, including the Gemini app, AI Mode and Lens features on Search, and Flow, its AI-powered video tool, the Alphabet-owned company said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">The launch is Google&#8217;s latest in a series of moves that have \u200cpropelled the company to the \u2060forefront of the AI race, helping it better compete with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/organizations\/openai\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:OpenAI;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OpenAI<\/a>&#8216;s ChatGPT after suffering a string of \u2060embarrassments initially. The success has fueled a 47% surge in its stock in the past six months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Google rolled out the Nano Banana AI \u200bimage editor \u200bin August, which quickly became \u200ba viral sensation, attracting 13 \u200cmillion first-time users to the Gemini app in just four days in September.
