Presenter Ray D\u2019Arcy will return to broadcasting next week with a new podcast, Ray D\u2019Arcy Daily.<\/p>\n
The podcast, which will be released Monday to Friday, features conversations with D\u2019Arcy\u2019s family and friends.<\/p>\n
It was his wife, Jenny Kelly who shared the news on social media earlier today, as she shared the podcast preview trailer, where D\u2019Arcy says that his return to broadcasting was \u201cinevitable.\u201d <\/p>\n
Jenny Kelly was co-host of the Jenny and Mair\u00e9ad Show, a podcast with fellow presenter Mair\u00e9ad Ronan, and previously worked alongside her husband, on Today FM.<\/p>\n
D’Arcy\u2019s shock departure from RT\u00c9 came in October 2025, news which sent shockwaves through RT\u00c9 radio.<\/p>\n

D\u2019Arcy (61) released a statement at the time, and said that he was \u201chugely disappointed\u201d with RT\u00c9 management regarding how his departure from Radio 1 was handled.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been with Radio 1 for the past 11 years. In that time I have worked with some brilliant people. I want to thank them. I also want to thank all the regulars on the show, the guests and the wonderful loyal listeners,\u201d his statement read.<\/p>\n
His departure was the first step in what transpired to be a massive shake-up in the daytime schedule.<\/p>\n
