Marc Guehi<\/a> has completed his medical ahead of a \u00a335 million move to Liverpool, but there are now doubts whether Crystal Palace<\/a> will sign off on the transfer.<\/b><\/p>\n

Liverpool and Crystal Palace<\/a> agreed a deal worth \u00a335 million<\/a> \u2013 including a 10 percent sell-on clause \u2013 on Monday afternoon following extensive talks.<\/p>\n

That allowed the defender to continue his medical in London, which he is understood to have completed hours before the transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

But the Times<\/a>\u2018 Gary Jacob is among those to report that the deal has now stalled due to issues on Palace\u2019s end.<\/p>\n

talkSPORT<\/a>\u2018s Alex Crook has claimed that this comes following the failure to sign centre-back Igor Julio from Brighton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian is instead now expected to join West Ham<\/a>, meaning Palace must now source another replacement for Guehi before green-lighting his move.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if this will end Liverpool\u2019s hopes of signing the England international before the 7pm deadline on Monday, with Sky Sports<\/a> reporting that Palace have not called him back from his medical.<\/p>\n

However it certainly isn\u2019t encouraging, with Guehi\u2019s sale already a point of major contention at Selhurst Park with manager Oliver Glasner vocal in his desire to keep his No. 6.<\/p>\n

That Palace agreed a deal shows they are willing to sell their captain \u2013 as has been maintained by chairman Steve Parish in recent weeks \u2013 but they will not want to risk Glasner walking out if Guehi is not adequately replaced.<\/p>\n

Guehi\u2019s medical has taken place in London to speed up the process around a long-expected move to Anfield, avoiding any late issues as far as Liverpool are concerned.<\/p>\n

But clearly they cannot legislate for other deals fallen through for Palace, who have already enquired over a loan deal for Joe Gomez<\/a> as well as registering interest in Man City<\/a>\u2018s Manuel Akanji and Monaco\u2019s Mohammed Salisu.<\/p>\n
